Vobile Completes Series C Funding

Vobile, a Santa Clara, California-based provider of video and audio content identification, analytics and management services, completed a Series C funding.
The round was led by IPV Capital with participation from Ivy Capital.
The company intends to use the funds for new product and market expansion.
Founded in 2005 and led by Yangbin Wang, CEO, Vobile offers a suite of SaaS (Software as a Service) products, with applications of content protection, real-time analytics and global monetization.
Its patented core VDNA technology enables automated identification, tracking and management of any video and audio content. Its VDNA Database, (VDDB), is a comprehensive database of authorized video fingerprints, metadata and business rules from major movie studios, television networks and record labels.
The company’s services have been deployed by Hollywood studios, broadcasting TV networks and other global content producers, as well as some Internet video sites including Youku, Tudou, Sohu, Tencent and Rutube.
Vobile also has offices in China, Japan and Singapore.
